WHAT IS KELVIN ?
Kelvin is a unit of thermodynamic temperature used to describe colour temperature difference. LED light sources are based on the Kelvin (K) scale of measure.
The scale for residential and commercial lighting applications fall somewhere between 2700K warm white to 6500K cold day white. The lower the Kelvin numbers the yellow the colour of the lights gets, with higher Kelvin number, the light gets whiter and brighter.
WHAT TEMPERATURE SHALL I CHOOSE?
The kind of lighting and temperature depends of the space, room and the part of the house you want to install it.
For example 3000-3500K warm white light is soft and pleasant colour. It works well for bedroom and sitting areas such as cafes, restaurant since the light.
4000-4500K. This colour is clean white similar to natural daylight. It works well in kitchen, dining room and living room.
6000-6500k is bright and can be used in study room, office, and commercial and industrial ares.
